This is a true American classic in my opinion. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid, and yes, I understand it's pretty cheesy now that I've seen it as an adult. But it just makes you feel good when you watch it for some reason. In fact, this is one of the only comedy/romances I can tolerate.

Nothing really new - Crocodile Dundee Reviews

I saw the trailer thinking that most of it would take place in the city. The truth is less than half of it takes place in the city. The first half has some funny parts but it's mostly romantic. Another reason why I didn't like this movie is because I can't picture the two main actors as a couple it just doesn't work in my mind. Overall this is an mediocre fish out of water comedy. When this movie came out in 1986, it took off and never looked back. People were drawn into the story of a Australian crocodile hunter, and his New York companion. This is the real Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin...eat your heart out.
